Yarnographic Friday

Today's yarn is 1100 yards of Rick Rack by Interlacements, hand-dyed, and 100% nylon. Their web site is https://interlacementsyarns.com/

It has a particular shine to it that catches light that brings out shades of color. It feels amazingly soft and silky and would make a very nice throw.

Here's Rick Rack after spending some time with Miss Swift and Mr. Winder.

What wonderful colors!

For that last shot, I would recommend pulling back a bit on the camera. It's not in focus. That may be because the camera was too close to it. Do you have a little screen you can preview your shot on? If so, you can focus it (most likely) by depressing the shutter halfway, then checking the screen again. Even if you don't have a macro option, you should be able to get a closer shot in focus. If you can choose the quality of photo you're taking, set it to the highest, then you can always take the huge pic that comes out and crop it tighter.

Aren't Interlacements yarns scrumptious? I used some of their 8-Ply Ray-Flax to make my cousin a poncho, and it was just delightful. I made the leftovers into my Clapotis!
