It's nice that they're promoting good manners, but sad that we need a sign for it.

Sad they had to tactfully let people know that spitting on a sidewalk is nasty. Hmmm...I wonder how many people still do it?

I'm guessing that some folks will spit just to defy the sign. I like the idea, though.
