"Here’s something for Valentine’s Day. Have you ever fallen out of love with a favorite author? Was the last book you read by the author so bad, you broke up with them and haven’t read their work since? Could they ever lure you back?"
Yes, Maggie Sefton, because the quality of her writing seemed to decline in her series of books about a Colorado knitter who happens to solve crimes. The initial books are less formulaic than her more recent efforts.
Yes, I could read her again when her writing returns to its previous compelling and literary level.

Lailah and Max enjoy their Valentines from their cyber-canine friends! Thank you to the people who obeyed their doggies and sent Valentines through the "Dogs on Thursday" swap!

I am with you on the thoughts about Maggie Sefton! What a let down!
I love the picture of the dogs with their valentines!
Cute pups!
I still like the Sefton books because they're comfy reading. Sometimes I just need some comfy.
Adorable dog picture! Happy Valentines Day to you and the furry ones.
Max looks like he got a little misty-eyed reading his Valentines! Happy DOT :)
Glad they got their card! :)
Mysteries like that tend to all read the same for me after awhile and so I try and space out my reading of them to avoid burn out and so I can continue enjoying them. I am not familiar with the particular author you mention, however.
I much prefer reading (or rather, listening to, most of the time) the earlier John Grisham novels. After a few books, authors tend to run out of material and have to obey the publishers to crank out new books.
