Back Yard Greetings!

An invitation on http://countrygirlzine.us/knit/ asks everyone to post a back yard pic this morning. Fun idea! So, out the back door, to the deck, and my well-worn, favorite spot...

Back and forth, restful respite, soothing swing.

Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy. --- Leo Buscaglia

I love swings and rocking chairs. The gentle swinging motion is soothing and relaxing I find. I've always loved swings and rocking chairs, and as I most often knit in my rocking chair I guess I have the stereotypical look of an old lady (though I'm only 37)...you know, old lady = rocking chair, knitting and cat (I have a cat too)...lol

I've had to apologize to a few people for getting their names on the sidebar list late. I'm so sorry. Better late than never though!

I really love your swing. I need one of those for my backyard!

Shelley--

We are definitely in the same chair/swing!! I've loved them as long as I can remember. I was always the kid on the swing...well, unless I was riding my bike...maybe roller skating...hee-hee!

Love the swing - I think I'd sit there all summer and get nothing done at all :-)
