Wow, I had to google this to see where it was and if a street called Bucket of Blodd was real. Amazing!

Yikes. I hope no one lives on "Bucket of Blood Street" Can you imagine teaching your kid his address? Here's Mine

Seriously? Bucket of Blood Street? Can't you just see yourself quoting your address to someone, "Oh, I live on Bucket of Blood."

Does this refer to some event in Native American history or is the cross street just a coincidence?

Gaah! That's not a street I would much like to live on lol

Not sure I would want to hang out at that intersection!

Oh dear...now there's an eloquent street sign. I'd really love to know how anyone sat down and decided to name somewhere "Bucket of Blood Street."

That is very unusual, and I do wonder at the origin of the name. It makes me think of the episode of the Gilmore Girls with the historic street names (Sores & Boils alley, etc.).

Just did a search for the history of Bucket of Blood Street and found out that it's part of Route 66. That's so cool...my husband and I are planning on taking a road trip along Route 66 this summer. I'm not sure how far we'll get in the time we have...but if we make to this street, I'm definitely taking a picture! Thanks for sharing.

Here's my Snapshot

I can't believe a town would have approved that name for a street....yikes.

Okay. I'm the weirdo here. I took a look and thought to myself, "Wow. That'd be a cool address!" LOL

Bucket of Blood? I don't think I'd want to go anywhere near there! Although it would be awfully cool to tell people where you lived.
