Western Mountains

My DH and I recently returned from our trip to Arizona in our motor home for Cactus League Spring Training. Here are some mountains we saw along the way:

The Rockies viewed from Colorado Springs,

mountains in New Mexico,

mountains in Arizona,

Rockies in Arizona!

Those hills in Arizona look like they are carves sphinxes or other animals. Very cool!

This is so cool! Denis and a visiting friend went to Spring Training to watch a game (Diamondbacks vs. the Mariners), and they came home with 2 for 1 admission coupons to the Deer Valley Rock Art center. That's the major reason why Denis and I went, and how the DVRAC was the topic of my Saturday Snapshot. Serendipity!

Hello!
Thank you so much for your visit to my blog!
I love your blog! Great idea for the Teaser Tuesday and also the idea of posting a sentence from page 56 of a book and writing about it.
I don't knit, but I do crochet (I call it torturing the yarn rather than crocheting it!)
I love Colorado by the way, my sister lived there for years and met her husband there. She was married at Devil's Thumb Ranch with the Rockies as a backdrop. Beautiful! (And I was in the wedding and it was the only time in my life that my hair looked good! No Georgia humidity, don't you know!)

Beautiful pictures! I'd love to explore those rock formations in Arizona. They look so ancient and interesting.
