My reading has been so lapse this year, I cannot say what I have read! I am however currently reading Mary Berry's autobiography. I hope that you will love the Frances Mayes book, you should also read Under the Tuscan Sun, it is fabulous. I have read three of her books, although not the one that you mention, and loved them all.
