Books and Dogs on Thursday

Max and Lailah celebrated Halloween by playing with this cute skeleton rope toy that a swap pal sent. All three seemed to enjoy it equally--crazy skeleton!

"What with yesterday being Halloween, and all . . . do you read horror? Stories of things that go bump in the night and keep you from sleeping?"
I really-really don't! I don't watch that genre of movies, TV, or read horror books. I don't finding it entertaining....I'll just pass those books on to someone who DOES enjoy them!
How about you? Do you read horror stories?

Great pic of your puppies. As for the horror. NO! I won't watch it because it frightens me and reading it makes it even more frightening to me. My imagination goes wild.

Cute pups! Thanks for your kind words about Fred.

I don't do horror either.

The pups are so cute in play position. Yeah, looks like the skeleton is having fun too :-)

I don't read horror, though I have listened to Steven King's autobiography (read by himself). He's a great writer.

The pups look like great pals. I love the picture. I like to read old fashion ghost stories such as The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins.

I do read psycho thrillers. I prefer those to the gore ones. More scary to me.

I wonder if they have taken turns playing with the skeleton or if one gets jealous when the other has it?

I used to read Stephen King books and liked a few of them. I don't read them much anymore but that's because I'm not reading much of anything these days...keep meaning to pick up a real book sometime.
