We were welcomed by a giant prairie dog and an alert Native American brave at two of our stops.

It seemed as though the entire route was lined with flags through CO, KS, NE, and MO --- very uplifting sights at this time of celebrating our liberty!
The culmination of the weekend were the fireworks framed by the St. Louis Arch.

It sounds like a great trip. State parks are wonderful! Have you ever been to the ones in Georgia? We've really enjoyed them.
